If You Ask Me

I may be fat and oily, hungry and greedy, but my love for bags will never die! I know how the front part of the sentence has completely no linkage to the second part, but I'm just saying.

Can't wait to meet TBF in the evening, and I should go to bed and stop surfing bags. It's getting out of hand and I gotta stop now. Good night, or Good Morning. :)

Exhilarating Escapades

Had a great dinner date with B on tuesday night. He brought me to one of his all-time favorite chill-out place and that's WALA WALA, which is located in Lorong Mambong... Holland Village.

For some reason, the whole of Holland Village looks pretty weird to me in a way that it's very out of place. I mean the area looks great but behind that it's all just ordinary car parks and HDB flats. Still, overall it was still quite a happening night although it was only a tuesday night.

I believe the main reason why B loves to go there on a tuesday night was because he loves the live band that's playing during the prime time set. The band's name is "Tabular" if I'm not wrong.

Anyway, we got there at about 7.30 in the evening and this other group was on stage with two acoustic guitarist and one very sweet looking girl with a great voice. Along with the dim lights and really awesome pizza & chips, the night turned out great! Food was great, drinks were great and everything was perfect... well, except the waitresses. They seemed kinda aloof to me. :(

We stayed all the way till about 10.45pm when my eyelids started getting heavier and in total, we spent a whooping sum of $71, but I hope it was all worth it. At least I'm still feeling this way. Okay, the next time I go there, I have to make a mental note of keeping a budget in mind! Overall, that was a great date and I can't wait to go out with B again!

Next up, on wednesday, it was my long awaited TBF gathering! We also had pizza hut date at 6.30pm, but Brason figured that we may be free in the early noon so he requested to go out and so the three of us, including Mayshan, met up and catched up. As usual, the laughters were neverending whenever we're together!

It all started with our lunch at Fish&Co. at ION Orchard, where the three of us couldn't understand what the waiter was trying to tell us despite being really friendly. We got really embarrassed, yet we couldn't help but to burst out in laughters. Then it was... "window shopping".

We went into lots of high end fashion stores and for the tenth thousand times, I really wish I could afford something. Those hobo/shoulder bags from the Coach Poppy collection were driving me nuts! Someday, I must get something!

Oh and I finally got my GUESS Eau De Parfum! It's a very old perfume but till this very day, I still love the scent of it and so I finally stop resisting myself (after several years) and succumbed into buying it, and I'm feeling happy about it, because that means that one thing is down from my wishlist... and I used my salary to buy the perfume, so it makes me proud to say that that gift (for myself) was bought using my hard earned money. :)

Alright, then we finally got to meet up with the other TBFs. I was so glad that we could all make it and finally got a group shot after such a long long time!

Can't wait to see you guys next week again! :)

School is starting really soon, and I'm trying to embrace it with as much respect and discipline as I can. I really hope I make it this time. There isn't any more room left for failures!

Some Little Efforts

During the past two days at work, I was (almost) too free that I got my brain working real hard instead. It worked mainly on how to work a little harder to make sure that my very bestest group of friends and I would continue on being... well, in contact.

And I did it. It may not be a fanciful one, but I did managed to achieve confirmation of full attendance for our coming mid-week dinner & gathering. I hope this little pizza hut gathering would help all of us get through our mid-week perfectly, and also prepare us for a more awesome weekend.

I always look forward to every TBF outing/gathering. They may not exactly always end up in glitz and glamour photographs, but they always end with a heartwarming note, reminding us that all the fun and laughters are real and not something our mind made up... and it is all worth it.

Because of that little heartwarming note, I figured that it was worth the effort trying to pull everyone back together once in a while, despite being blown away by countless of other different pursuits most of the time. It really made me happy that everyone agreed to make it, I knew they all would try, even if it meant having to rush down from school, work or whatnot.

I've probably realized that because of the different pursuits, people or rather, us, drift further and further apart, but I shouldn't let the drifting happen simply because I couldn't allow myself to submit into acknowledging the different pursuits and then eventually let things fall apart.

Some part (most of it actually) of me still firmly believe that all of us share a certain common interests and love, and that was what pulled us all together in the first place. Well, even if we are different in every different ways, there's still always a way to pull us back... because the first common thing that all of us share is that we're all human, with a beating heart.

And think "The Breakfast Club" the next time you feel that you and your best friends aren't working out anymore. If the 5 total strangers can do it, why can't best friends?

Btw, I really love my greatest bunch of TBF. Silly, but we'll always be... The Best Friends. =)

Randomize

Something random, but don't you think the Pikachu is super duper cute?! It's found in one of the episodes of Pokemon season 2 - The Orange league, where Pikachu is found to imitate Ash as he was paralyzed by a stun spore from Villeplume. Okay enough, I know nobody watches it anyway. Heh.

Anyway, few nights ago I spent a few hours deciding on what I want and I made a list out of it. Turns out there were 15 items (I believe more items are to be added), and the total amount adds up to a whopping 2k or more! *Material girl.. in a material world*.

I will post the list up when it's finalized. For now, I can only say that I'm rotting my holidays away because I'm completely broke! While it's a good thing because by the end of this month, my bank account shouldn't feel hungry anymore, but for now, it's completely empty. =(

For some reason, I've also developed this stubborn attitude to not beg or ask money from my mother, unless of course, I do some work which she rewards me cash simply as *rewards*. Seriously, you have no idea what's going on in my family and nope, I'm not telling. Every family has its own woes, and mine has too.

While once in a while, we scream, shout, backstab and say hurtful words, deep inside I still strongly believe that because we have this strong family bond, therefore we're still together.

I dread to think of the fact that life sometimes isn't that great. Parents don't entirely know what they are doing and us as kids, have absolutely no rights to defend ourselves or stand up to tell them that they are terribly at faults.

I can't deny that many times, I'm at fault for causing so much trouble to the family, but sometimes I really wish that I could clear my throat and say exactly how and what I feel about what's going on. Guess not.

I guess we all gotta grow and learn through the hard way some how. While I hate failures and regrets, I can't help but to admit that these are the only ways that'll make me learn and grow up to be a better person, instead of someone who's insensitive to her surroundings.

Enough of such emotional topics, I'm back to the Johto Journeys on pokemon. Don't stop me! I have an inner child too! :)

Btw, check out http://daintyroom.livejournal.com for their latest collection now! Hurry! :)

Do you wanna mambo?

Mambo Jambo / Phuture was awesome with great company! Too bad some other TBF didn't manage to make it, but well, there's always next time. :)

We arrived at zouk too early I guess, and there was absolutely nothing for us to do. No crowd either, even those who were inside zouk were just chilling out. So we went for prata instead. Who knew that by the time it was 11.3o everything was starting to hyped up. Since zouk's 1-for-1 midnight madness is ending at 12am. We hurried to the bar and got ourselves 3 jugs of vodka (with 3 extra jugs free). I love 1-for-1 promotion!

Played 5,10 and grooved to some mambo hits with TBF while waiting for Gwen and some other to arrive. Downed our jugs and it was time for Phuture! Horrible crowd. It was so squeezy, it's almost like we didn't have to walk, and people can just make us all move. But music was great.

Night goes on with many Blacking Outs. It's quite a usual thing for me nowadays, blacking out after downing some vodka & beer. I guess it's the blood or fats thing (not quite sure how to explain in the best scientific/medical way since I'm not smart in that area). Still, blacked out about 3 times and thank god for B's company.

Amazing how we got out at 2am or so, and still decided to go back in to enjoy the rest of the night. It doesn't usually happen this way (we usually get bored by this time if it were in other clubs). Well, guess zouk does live up to its name. Alright, enough said. Time for peektures! :)

Hello superstar!

Accidentally applied too much blusher thus the *Rosy* cheeks. ^.^

Gwen always looks so happy!

Double J!

Superstar and her fan?

Happy Gwen & Happy Wee

No, it's the blusher. Not drunkface.

Couple & 1 extra!

Happy G!

B's attempt on taking a shot. =.=

Don't be shy!

They are meant for each other. They even look alike! hehe.

Sweaty boys and Sweaty girls. hehe.

Post Zouk. Time to say byebye!

It's actually funny how the Djs switched music from genre to genre. I thought Mambo Jambo was suppose to feature classic hits and retro tunes? For some reason, "Nobody" was played and all the girls were dancing to the beat! Okay, maybe that is classic. Even funnier was when everyone was hyped up and the music switched to MJ's "Heal the World". Huh?

But it was still nice I guess. :) Elton, Shujun and the rest, please join us the next time. Don't miss out again! Well I guess it'll be the next holiday before we meet Mambo night again since school is starting for most. :) It's okay, there's still many events coming right up and I love the last quarter of the year, always. Halloween, Christmas and whatnot. Hehe.

Oh, before Zouk, I went pikuniku with IMD mates @ sentosa and it was great. The sun was great and it was fun soaking in the sea and tanning under the sun. Love our periodical picnic sessions. Gotta keep it up and have another awesome picnic with them for all our holidays! Hehe.

I probably underutilized the camera. Should've taken more shots! Well, there's always next time. It's time for pokemon now!

I hope this post is a nice way to revive my dying blog. Hehe. Till then! :)

PS: B prefers to remain anonymous here. :)

No idea how to start

Hello there, how do I start blogging again? I have no idea what to post or say at all. And I absolutely have no pictures to start anything. Oh yes you're right, I need a camera, but I don't know which one to get and my pay is late so I still can't get it.

I really need to revive this blog somehow, but how?!

Okay, have to try somehow!

I have nothing to blog about.

So I will just write about whatever comes into my mind.

1. I am a total fashion disaster.
2. I lost my will to improve on my fashion sense because I see no point in dressing up due to the spare tires around my waist and those extra lard around the arms and thighs area.
3. With reference to the above point, I actually really want to dress up.
4. With reference to the above point, it may be a good choice this way... as I save a lot of money from shopping.
5. But because I've saved so much from shopping, I've spent even more on food and whatnot.
6. And then I gain more spare tires.
7. It all gets too depressing in the end.
8. I spend at least 20% of my time online surfing things that's in relation to fashion and branded materialistic goods.
9. Lately, I've came across KateSpade.com quite frequently and I've found something that I really like.
10. The best thing is that the online price of that item is quite alright, which means I am able to afford it.
11. But I don't know how to do online shopping and have no ultimate trust in entrusting my $200 on an online purchase.
12. I guess I'll just have to continue waiting and eventually forget about it.
13. But I really want to do something about the way I dress and look.
14. But I have no time because there's still a big project and school.
15. Actually, the above point is just an excuse.
16. I'm actually just too lazy.
17. But, I guess we don't get things the easy way.
18. I think I really need to lose those 20pounds.
19. How?
20. How?
21. Never mind. Back to work.

22. But I really want to fit into the stuff that I really want! Argh!
